Our mission

We are on a mission to transform Careers Guidance in the UK and abroad. We believe that destinations - where students end up after school - is even more important than their academic performance. Our platform is the one-stop-shop for students to explore their interests, then find and apply for their best next step after school.

 

We make it easy for students to compare tens of thousands of opportunities, everything from degree apprenticeships in the UK to university in Canada. We also support teachers to manage the progression process effectively.

In just six years we have become the market leader, working with over 1,200 secondary schools across the world and lauded by students, teachers, politicians and business leaders. We have a committed and dynamic team of 30, a growing set of products, a very strong reputation in our market, and a rapidly increasing customer base. We now need an excellent Data Officer to maximise the effectiveness of our platform and keep us on our toes as we continue to grow.

The role and who we are looking for

We are looking for an efficient and tenacious person to join us as a New Business Lead to help expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will be driven by targets and comfortable communicating with potential customers in a consultative way. We anticipate that the successful person will be adaptable, an excellent communicator, and will grow with the company.

    Responsibilities

As New Business Lead, you will be responsible for driving new business in the UK by securing in-person meetings. Whilst you will be given support from a small and dedicated team, you will have the autonomy to lead your own campaigns and projects.

 

Described below are some of you main responsibilities:

  • Working with nine UK Area Managers to understand the regional challenges they face and how you can help them.

  • Researching and identifying schools and colleges that we don’t work with but would benefit from using Unifrog.

  • Designing personalised campaigns involving emails, phone calls and social media to target an area in a smart, tailored way.

  • Speaking to interested schools on the phone to explain the work we do at Unifrog in a compelling manner with the aim of securing an in-person meeting for an Area Manager.

  • Being the first port of call for inbound leads.

  • Supporting with other projects such as organising conferences and reviewing our marketing collateral.

Details

  • Based at our office in Hoxton, London, N1.

  • Normal working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

  • 28 days paid holiday per year; the vast majority of these need to be taken during

    school holidays (plus bank holidays)
