About The People's Co

Founded in 2016, The people’s poncho aims to provide technical high-quality rainwear to the global market at affordable prices. Stocked in 25+ international retailers (Brompton Junction, The North Face)

 

Large players in the rain-wear category use branded names such as goretex to command much higher prices for their products. The rain-wear category has not yet seen the disruption as in other categories for younger, purpose-led brands that offer product to a discerning consumer that doesn't compromise on technical quality.

 

The people's poncho brings a technical, high-quality rain-wear offering to the consumer at the right price point and a brand proposition that is built around a community of growing "adventure mindset"​ consumers.

 

What makes our Poncho special?

 

• The product is unrivalled in terms of quality for its waterproofness.

• Material - made from finest Japanese polyester

 

We're currently at over £1m in annual sales with limited makreting. Pure organic.

We have new product offerings and lines soon to be ready for release.

About you 

We're looking for someone to help us scale to £5m in annual revenue whilst also launcging new product lines.

You will completely lead the growth and ecom store.

You will work directly with the Founder and CEO Johnny

The role offers full flexibility in terms of hours, location - you have the full control over your diary. We're looking for someone who can manage and lead themselves with the view to grow the growth team. 

 

We’re looking for an Head Of Ecom & Growth to work directly with the founders and the core team to manage the company through the next phase of growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented person to join a fast growing startup with the potential to be an integral and Senior part of the brands next evolution. 

In an ideal world, we want someone who’s familiar running Shopify store or similar. 

You thrive with autonomy, and love the challenge of creating new product lines, Customer Retention, Scale Revenue to £5m Annual Sales+.
