About the role
At Mayku we’re building the World’s first Desktop Factory to put the power to create back in the hands of makers everywhere.
Reporting to and supporting the Head of Channel Sales - we’re looking for a Global Sales Account Manager to consistently drive reorders with our current accounts to expand our account revenue/base.
You’ll be a key part of a founding team, your work will directly impact the success of Mayku and move us onto our next stage of growth as we continue to develop our product offering.
You’ll be supported and have the freedom to work in a way that suits your selling styling and rewarded with unlimited earning potential.
In order to succeed in this role, you’ll need to be creative and confident in closing sales orders, as we offer a unique product that’s not like anything else on the market.
As this is a sales role, it goes without saying you’ll need to be an expert negotiator, but you’ll also need to be well organised in order to keep up to date with 40+ partners and have superior communication and influencing skills.

What will I be doing?

Setting revenue targets in partnership with the Head of Channel Sales and ensure targets are being achieved

Actively work to sell to and through our partners, aiming to achieve a consistent sell-through rate

Stay connected to partners by establishing a proactive regular cadence of contact via video, phone and email

Onboard and upskill our partners, work on collaborative business plans to drive FormBox sales

Identify pain points and generate creative solutions for our partners;

Support the New Business team to identify new partner opportunities and further extend the existing partner network;

Contribute to building application and sales expertise in Mayku, providing consultative guidance to our partners and internal stakeholders

Manage relationships with decision-makers at Partner accounts to create and maintain a collaborative sales process

Support Go-to-Market plans associated with new product releases, marketing campaigns and activities to drive re-orders

Identify roadblocks and suggest process improvements both internally and externally

Help ensure that all areas of the business are set up for success with our partner channel
What are the requirements?

Previous experience working in account management within physical product distribution

Experience with new product introduction

Comfortable talking with individuals from a variety of business types based in a range of geographic locations

Exceptional communication, negotiation and sales skills

Why We Started Mayku
We love making. However, the tools we use are getting more complicated, expensive, and harder to access. At Mayku, we’d like to solve that by changing the very way we think about making.
Our first mission is to build a simple set of machines that anyone can use - a personal factory to make the art of creating products as simple as baking a cake. The FormBox is our first machine. It’s a simple desktop vacuum former, able to make anything from lampshades to jello molds - and it's just the beginning.

We take care of the entire process for you so we can manage and remove poor experiences like ghosting, no feedback, no updates and so on.
All you have to do is let your Relationship Manager know you’re interested, ask them any questions you have and they will take care of the rest.

If you like the initial sound of the company/ role. We then act as your “in” with them and set up an initial phone chat with you and the Hiring Manager there.
The chat will be pretty informal and should only last 10-15 minutes - It's a fact find for both of you.
