Most recently, we worked together at PayPal to help build multiple fraud protection products to help millions of merchants save millions of dollars.

Job Summary
Product Manager at Effectiv works within a product-focused team to conceptualize and develop the next-generation fraud platform. Utilizing your experience in managing complex products and your empathy for the user's problems, you will work on understanding pain points, prioritize problem areas and help to scope out potential solutions. You will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the whole product lifecycle through constant research, collect feedback, and challenging the current state for the better.
Responsibilities

Define the product strategy and roadmap together with the team

Deliver PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification

Groom and work on the feature backlog and work with the dev team to scope out implementation

Constantly talk to our users, understand their pain points, and translate that into actionable insights for the team

Be an expert with respect to the competition

Act as a product champion within the company

Help us to build a product-led company

Challenging existing approaches to come to a better solution
Requirements
-
3+ years of product management experience with exposure to defining, managing, and launching complex products (or part of a product) on your own. Experience working for a B2B SAAS product or in the banking/FI/fraud domain is a big plus.

Strong empathy for the client's problems and the ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision

Expertise in UX design and an understanding of software development is highly desirable given that you have to work closely with the design and engineering team

Experience building and mentoring a product team is a big plus

A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking

Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model

Be able to manage your time and deliverables, open to receive feedback, and have a very strong passion to build the best product possible
