Launched in 2017, Birdie is a team of 20 top-notch care, product, health and tech social entrepreneurs committed to transform the way we care for our elders. We secured a £8.5 mln funding from Kamet Ventures and AXA - one of the world’s largest insurance groups - to accelerate our commercial and expansion phases in the UK and Europe. Birdie has won several prizes and recently was listed as one of the top 10 UK startups to watch in 2019.

The mission of the Senior Sales Executive is to drive Birdie’s go-to-market strategy and achieve short term revenue targets and drive long term revenue growth by forging partnerships with our clients, homecare agencies. This role is crafted to become VP Sales within the next year if performance is achieved.
You’ll take the critical responsibility for optimising all the key aspects of the sales cycle, from adapting sales strategies, optimising sales, developing sales materials and marketing processes and executing sales. You’ll grow and drive your Sales and Marketing team to optimise the funnel from end to end and meet the ambition of Birdie and its investors to grow at exponential scale. Your role will be pivotal for the success of Birdie in the coming year.
You will need to get your feet on the ground to grasp what we do: your will start with closing deals with owners of SME homecare agencies to have them partner with Birdie alongside our sales executives, establishing your own online and offline network will also be key. As a key talent of our company, you’ll be in charge of driving improvements across every workstream in the venture (sales, marketing, product) based on the feedback you gather and your innovative ideas and suggestions.
How you'll contribute to Birdie in the next 6 to 8 months:
1.Shape, test, iterate and improve our sales efforts, with the goal of achieving improvement in key sales metrics within 3 months;
2. Grow the sales team and efforts to achieve a 20% monthly sales growth;
3. Lead sales yourself and achieve a close rate of over 50% (as we’re currently achieving!);
4. Develop an efficient and scalable sales process;
5. Be highly proactive and the owner of sales/growth by driving improvements across all workstreams, including marketing, sales & product;
6. Hire, coach and manage brilliantly your growing Sales team to meet hiring and performance metrics set together.

1. You have a deep understanding of a scalable B2B sales process and have previously participated in building a sales engine that has driven hyper-growth;
2. You have a proven track record with 3+ years experience in a high-growth, b2b tech sales organisation;
3. You have an exceptional sales track record, and the hunger to excel further;
4. You are truly entrepreneurial and independent, ready to seize the initiative of a venture transforming an entire industry, and drive radical improvement independently in your own and your team’s work;
5. You’re unshakably curious, have grit and you build close relationships quickly, and develop deep levels of trust that enable you to persuade and influence decision-making;
