Add to Event is an award-winning startup that has helped to find suppliers for over 100,000 events. Our innovative marketplace makes it incredibly easy to find whatever you need for your event, from Arabian tents to wood-fired pizza caterers. We’ve been used for everything from birthday parties to large corporate events for the likes of The BBC, Accenture and JP Morgan.
We are looking for someone with the capability to build and lead a team that will deliver on our ambition to be the world’s No. 1 marketplace for event services. You will have significant experience of owning a product roadmap including prioritising product features, solving complex problems in a user-focused way, and managing communications with a range of stakeholders. You’ll be a natural collaborator who is comfortable working and influencing highly competent colleagues from a variety of different backgrounds and as part of the senior management team.
We are looking for a creative and technical thinker, who thrives on complicated challenges and has hands-on experience addressing growth, ideally for an online marketplace. An excellent problem solver with good technical judgment; your high standards and passion for delivering products will be matched by your technical and data driven approach.
Experience and attributes
Extensive experience in product leadership, preferably in a marketplace or consumer business
A deep understanding and experience with consumer growth tactics
Experience driving product alignment across multiple stakeholders
Demonstrable experience delivering high growth results in a consumer product role
Passion for building innovative products that solve user needs through deep understanding of the customer
A proven track record of building and managing high performing product management teams
Strong analytical, problem solving, and quantitative skills with data-driven approach to decision-making
An ability to influence team members across all departments and levels of the organisation.
Extensive experience leading product teams and developing product strategies
Experience working as part of a management team and managing complex products with responsibility for driving revenue growth
A natural leader with strong communication skills and the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders
A passion for user-centric design and using customer data to drive decision-making

We take care of the entire process for you so we can manage and remove poor experiences like ghosting, no feedback, no updates and so on 🙌
All you have to do is let your Relationship Manager know you’re interested, ask them any questions you have and they will take care of the rest.

If you like the initial sound of the company/ role. We then act as your “in” with them and set up an initial phone chat with you and the Hiring Manager there.
The chat will be pretty informal and should only last 10-15 minutes - It's a fact find for both of you.
